Craft Beer Brewed in Pembrokeshire
Local produce is not only found on our plates, but also in the glasses we serve. Based on the St Davids Peninsula, Old Farmhouse Brewery creates beers that capture the character of Pembrokeshire through carefully crafted brews and locally inspired flavours. From pairing alongside our dishes to becoming an ingredient within them, their beers allow us to celebrate the creativity and craftsmanship of another local producer.
Brewing with a Sense of Place
Just a short distance from Blas Restaurant, St Davids Old Farmhouse Brewery creates award-winning craft beers inspired by the landscapes of the St Davids Peninsula. Family-run by Mark and Emma Evans, the brewery is based on their working farm, where they combine home-grown barley, their own well water and a passion for sustainable brewing to create beers that truly reflect Pembrokeshire. Their ‘Barley to Bottle’ philosophy celebrates local ingredients and traditional craftsmanship with every brew.
Flavours of Pembrokeshire
The brewery produces a diverse range of beers, from crisp lagers and refreshing pale ales to rich stouts and speciality brews. Many are inspired by the surrounding coastline, local history and natural ingredients, including their distinctive Cwrw Kelp, brewed with locally harvested sugar kelp. Each beer is carefully crafted to showcase the character of Pembrokeshire while offering something unique for every palate.
Beyond the Glass
Alongside serving a selection of St Davids Old Farmhouse Brewery beers on our drinks menu, our chefs also incorporate them into a number of dishes throughout the year. Whether adding depth to a rich sauce, enhancing a slow-cooked dish or bringing subtle malt and hop flavours to seasonal recipes, these locally brewed beers become another ingredient in our kitchen. By using them both in the glass and on the plate, we celebrate the craftsmanship of a local producer while giving our guests another authentic taste of Pembrokeshire.
